Support Me On My Quest to Benefit This Amazing Institution!!!

Why do I participate with this Center as a student and volunteer teacher in my free time? Simple! Because there's nothing like it, anywhere! 

Thousand Waves fosters fitness, healing, empowerment and peacemaking through traditional karate, fitness, self-defense and violence prevention programs. Funds raised at Spirit Challenge:

• Help bring violence prevention programs to schools and neighborhood organizations where violence happens all the time. The results among participants in these areas have been dramatic, to say the least.

• Support Thousand Waves' Adapted Seido Karate program for kids with disabilities, in partnership with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC).

• Support Thousand Waves' scholarship fund, which ensures that anyone who wants to can have access to Thousand Waves programs. This has literally changed people's lives around, from the many instances I've witnessed.
