Hi, my name is Anish Agnani and I am 9 years old. I’ve been doing Karate since I was six but I’ve only been doing Seido at Thousand Waves for almost a year now. I used to do Shotokan Karate, so I kind of a head start. For example, I already knew some blocks, kicks and punches.

    I like Thousand Waves since it’s closer than Fonseca (my old karate dojo) and since we went to houston last year and we couldn’t find any Shotokan dojos there, so I did Tae-kwon-do. When we got back, I had forgotten all the Katas and some other things so I thought that restarting that style wouldn’t do any good so I decided to start a totally different style: Seido (Seido and Shotokan aren’t that different).

    Thousand Waves needs money to stay in business so that’s why we have Spirit challenge; to earn money for the school. If you guys would like to sponsor me, just tell me. I’ll have your name on my page in no time!
