About Scott Niedermayer

Scott Niedermayer is one of the most accomplished defensemen in NHL history, with a career that spanned 18 seasons playing for the New Jersey Devils and Anaheim Ducks. A four-time Stanley Cup champion, he was renowned for his exceptional skating, offensive skill, and leadership.

Scott’s accolades include the Norris Trophy (2004) as the league’s best defenseman and the Conn Smythe Trophy (2007) as the playoff MVP. On the international stage, he represented Canada and achieved the rare “Triple Gold Club” status by winning Olympic gold (2002, 2010), a World Championship (2004), and a Stanley Cup.

Glacier Ice Rink is a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable ice sports and recreation for the Missoula community. We offer programs and events for all ages and skill levels, including public skating, youth and adult hockey, figure skating, and curling. Now in our 28th year of operations, we are focusing on enhancing the user experience through facility improvements, such as new locker rooms, while also increasing efficiency with upgrades like new siding and insulation.
