Roller derby gives me a sense of freedom and an ability to vent my emotions in a positive, sometimes physical, way. It is something that I am able to do without fear of being judged for my orientation or my size. Derby has always been a welcoming community. One of my favorite things about derby is that no matter your skill level or prior knowledge, the people are always kind and patient with you. The care and love from the other players is always so refreshing to see, all of the people that I have met through derby have been amazing. It is truly amazing to see the community flourish and see and meet all of these wonderful people.  

Your gift to the Seattle Derby Brats helps our teams continue to be successful on and off skates. It helps cover the costs of practice locations, provides scholarships for skaters who need them, and helps raise up all of the people in our community. 

I am not able to skate in the Skate-A-Thon this year, I'll be in Colorado for my aunt's graduation, but I hope you will consider making an outright gift to support my goal. I really appreciate your donation!
