Why I Love Roller Derby

I like Roller derby because I get to play with and against my friends. It teaches me to be resilient and strong. It is also a lot of fun. When our jammers get past the other team's wall, we cheer for them and stomp our skates.

Roller derby is also the most inclusive sport ever. We are able to use our pronouns and it is a safe place to be who you are.

We need to raise a lot of money to help pay for our new roller derby location. We have been skating in parking lots and basketball courts this year. We also need to pay for medics and other expenses.

I am doing skate-a-thon on May 8 and I am asking you to either donate for how many laps I skate, or just make a donation based on what  you can. Even $5 will help me reach my goal. THANK YOU!!
