Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Making Strides for Special Kids 5K Run/Walk!

Once again, I am participating in this event to raise funds for Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL), a cooperative educational system working with school districts throughout the county to serve students who are facing physical, emotional, and other learning challenges. These funds will be used to directly enrich the educational, vocational, and social opportunities for children with disabilities in Lake County. I have seen firsthand how much SEDOL students and their families need our help and I know what a direct and meaningful impact we can provide. Taking care of the members of our community who are most in need is a responsibility that we all share and one that I am personally committed to.

As the retired principal of Laremont and the current SEDOL Foundation Board chair, I know the impact that the Foundation can make for the students, and families of Lake County. I also have seen the impact that grants have made for staff working with these amazing students.
