The 2025 Seek the Peak event schedule is still in the works! Below is an outline of the schedule from 2024. Check back soon for updates on special activities for this year.

FRIDAY, JULY 18
4:00-7:00 PM: Kick-Off Party at Tuckerman Brewing Company
MEET fellow Seek the Peak hikers, chat with Mount Washington Observatory staff, and enjoy live music with this laid-back get-together.
SATURDAY, JULY 19
6:00-9:00 AM: Meet at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center
HIKE. Appalachian Mountain Club and Observatory staff will greet hikers and be available to offer suggested hiking routes based on ability level and aspiration for the day. Lodging is also available at Joe Dodge Lodge.
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Observatory Weather Station Tours at Mount Washington Observatory, Mount Washington State Park's Sherman Adams Summit Building
TOUR our famous mountaintop weather station. Go behind the scenes and get a taste of what it's like to work at 6,288 feet. Tours are conducted on a rolling basis between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.; registration is NOT required. All Seek the Peak participants are invited.
4:00-7:00 PM: APRES HIKE EXPO!
CELEBRATE your accomplishment while enjoying live music, outdoor vendors, backcountry family-style dinner, beer garden, and the epic gear raffle. Register and pick up your prizes! And don't forget to add your ticket to the epic raffle. For friends and family not registered to hike, admission tickets are available for purchase when you register. Anyone can attend the Après Hike Expo; join us at the base of Mount Washington!
If you don't want to hike but would like to come for the party, you can buy tickets for your entire family's car. Meal vouchers are sold seperately.
4:00-5:00 PM: Educational Games for Kids at the Après Hike Expo
PLAY a variety of kid-friendly games and competitions, all focused on weather fun and discovery!
4:00-6:00 PM: Sustenance at the Après Hike Expo
REFUEL with a family-style meal.
4:00-7:00 PM: Beer Garden at the Après Hike Expo
RELAX with a varity of local brews by Tuckerman Brewing Company
5:00-7:00 PM: Live music at the Après Hike Expo
