Our world seems more connected than ever and yet there are times when we can feel alone.

Now, imagine that feeling when you’re 70 or older.

When you’ve outlived your friends or your family has moved away, who can you depend on? For many people that answer is Volunteers in Service to the Elderly and that is why I give.

When a VISTE volunteer delivers a hot meal to a client or drives them to the doctor’s office, they’re letting that client know that this community cares for them. When clients over the age of 90 receive birthday cakes, they know that they have not been forgotten. When a client receives a phone call from a VISTE phone pal, they know that they still matter.

VISTE does all of this and so much more through the generous donations of people like you. When you give to VISTE you can be sure that you are making a difference.
