The Farina family learned of Hemophilia in 2009 when our first born child had a serious head injury. It was scary at first not knowing what was wrong or what could be done. Since then we have gained so much information from the Hemophilia foundations such emergency room visits, school plans and learning to self infuse as well. In 2016 we had another child who also had Hemophilia A but because of what we have learned has definitely made the process much easier.
