Our son, Thomas (2 years old), was diagnosed with severe hemophilia A shortly after birth. It was a complete surprise to us since we don't have any family history of any bleeding disorders. We didn't know what do or how best take care of him or how fragile he would be. We had so many questions and fears. 

Since then, we have had so much support through Bleeding Disorders Association of South Carolina, Thomas's doctors, our family and friends. We've met so many other families affected by bleeding disorders who have taught us so much and encouraged us through our journey. Thomas has done really well so far, and we hope you'll join us in raising support and awareness for all the people affected by a bleeding disorder! Thank you!
