Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2024 SHARE Walk!

Different shift options will be available to select once arranged.

Hours apply towards Legacy Scholarships, Texas Scholars, and meet most other assigned volunteer requirements.

Volunteer tasks include: general event setup, hospitality, crowd control, children's activities and more.  Because this event serves children, a background check is required if you are 18 years of age or over.  If you are volunteering as a group or representative of your company, we can accept an official letter from the company confirming the staff meets these requirements.

To sign up as a volunteer, register for the event.  You may register as a fundraising or non-fundraising participant.  Please select the volunteer category based on your age.  Your participation is recorded and reported to our funders; therefore, we ask for general demographic information as well as how you are connected to the SHARE cause.  

Once you are registered, you will be contacted by our SHARE Program Director, Anna Meisner, to schedule shifts, initiate the background check process and the solidify details of your position. 

We depend on over 100 volunteers to make this event happen and they truly become part of the SHARE team during this event!  Thank you for making a difference in our community! Please contact Anna with questions regarding volunteers for the event.
