Kayleigh Harker

Jayden and I have been matched since February of 2025 and I have loved every moment of it. From dancing together at her school sneaker ball, to passing the IRead and getting to move forward to the next grade, Jayden continues to shine.  

While I hope to be making an impact on her, Jayden has also been a source of light for me. She's reminded me what it's like to take life less serious and notice the good around you even when times are hard. I continue to find myself more and more excited each time we plan an outing together. 

Not only do I have the honor of being Jayden's Big but I also am lucky enough to be on BBBSCI staff! When it comes to my role at BBBSCI a key component is taking the time to find and talk with potential Bigs.

Right now, we have 1,000 youth eagerly waiting for Bigs. That’s 1,000 lives ready to be changed, 1,000 opportunities to build connections that last a lifetime. These young people are full of potential, and they’re looking for someone who will believe in them, support them, and help guide them toward a brighter future. 

Our Bigs are stepping up—but we need even more people like them to meet this urgent need!
