Whether it's a friend, a family member, or neighbor down the street, we almost all know someone with Down syndrome. Evelyn is the newest addition to our Sherman family and is almost 3 months old! She has a very loving big brother, adoring parents, two big dog pals at home and also happens to have Down syndrome. Through this diagnosis she has introduced us to a beautiful new community that we have been eager to be involved with. Like us, many of you have been personally touched by the lives of these individuals. We're proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin-Sheboygan & Surrounding Counties' 8th Annual Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family.

We have much to learn as we navigate this new territory with Evelyn. We are grateful for communities like the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin that are helping support, guide and connect families who have members with Down Syndrome.
