Help Me Support the Kids, Young Adults, and Families Who Inspire Me Every Day

I’ve been part of MAC Midwest for 13 years. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing some of the most powerful moments life has to offer — a child speaking for the first time, a teen learning life skills, a family finally feeling seen and supported after years of searching for answers.

At MAC, we walk alongside children, young adults, and families as they navigate some of their biggest challenges. And we do it with compassion, care, and community at the heart of everything we offer.

Shine for MAC is not just a fundraiser. It is a movement to help more people access the life-changing support they deserve. The money we raise goes directly toward programs that help learners communicate, grow in confidence, and connect with the world around them. It helps families feel less alone. And it helps us keep showing up with the care people need and the dignity they deserve.

This work has shaped me in more ways than I can count. I’m proud of what we do, and I believe in the difference we’re making.
