Jared was born and raised in Acadiana. While in college at UL-Lafayette, Jared worked as a residential hall counselor and then as an engineering intern at LUS. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently employed as an Automation Engineer. He and his wife of 11 years, Adele, reside in Youngsville. Jared has a passion for wine, which was further fortified after a trip to central coast California in 2018. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, cooking, wine tasting, hanging out with friends, traveling, volunteering for festivals, and trying new things.
