Dan Hare served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana (BBBSA) board of directors for 15 years and held various offices including president. He also was a cast member of one of the Murder Mystery Dinner fundraising events. Dan has worked at the University of Louisiana for 30+ years and his current title is Director of Community Engagement. He has been very active as a volunteer in the community and involved in various organizations. He currently serves on the board of the Louisiana Education Television Authority (LETA) dba Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) representing the Third Congressional District. He has supported the mission of BBBSA for many years and is happy to volunteer as a "Shoe Guy" this year to raise funds in another fun way for this worthy cause. He is looking forward to welcoming attendees of the event to the Alumni Center where he works on a daily basis and thanks everyone for their support.
