Have you ever wondered why the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer? According to the Economic Policy Institute, over the last four decades the top 1.0% saw their wages grow by 157.8% and those in the top 0.1% had wages grow more than twice as fast, up 340.7%.  The wage gap has only been rising, with a majority of workers seeing minimal income growth.  The disparity in income is only more dire when considering gender and race.

Improving financial literacy in low-income and communities of color is a passion of mine. I strongly believe that financial literacy can provide economic stability, generational wealth, and can exponentially improve people's lives.
