Join us at Sitar Arts Center's 2022 Benefit Gala to celebrate DC's children, teens, and young adults who Create Change within themselves and their communities through the arts.

All guests will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination before attending. Sitar will abide by and continue to monitor guidelines and safety protocols as mandated by Washington, DC. Additional requirements may be shared prior to the event.

Sitar Arts Center's Annual Benefit Gala & Auction raises essential funds for equitable arts education and year-round out-of-school-time activities for DC's children, teens, and young adults. 80% of Sitar's students are from households with low income and 84% are Black, Hispanic, Latinx, or Multi-racial.

Sitar Arts Center is a leader for community arts education and youth workforce development in Washington, DC, removing financial barriers to artistic development through an innovative business model of primarily volunteer faculty and a socio-economically, culturally diverse community. Sitar offers its multidisciplinary arts programs to students from birth through young adulthood on a sliding-fee scale.
