Why I Love Roller Derby

I remember back to the very first bout I ever skated. I was on the Acid Pops, and we won! It was so exciting and exhilerating to play! Another early bout, tons of my friends came to watch and cheer. I don't even remember if we won or lost, it felt so good to have so many fans watching. 

Since then, I've learned a lot about the rules and how to play this complicated sport. It's super fun and empowering. Derby is the sport for me!
