Hello, my derby name is Siren and I have be skating and apart of Seattle Derby Brats for 7 years. Roller Derby is a contact sport that implements teamwork and leadership skills in skaters from a young age that they can later use and apply in their future. Derby has given me so much confidence over the years and because of that I strive to be a better person both on and off the track. This league has become a place that I can easily call my second home. And as a Senior skater I want to build a safe/kind community that can be passed down to the next generation of skaters who come after me. I want them to also be able to call this place their second home.

After years of skating in parking lots, rain or shine, since loosing our facility we, Seattle Derby Brats, now have a place to practice and call home! This building will also provide a place for other leagues who have also lost their buildings due to covid or other circumstances to practice and grow as a community.

The donation you make today helps fund the process to make our new facility derby ready by creating a clean/safe environment for our skaters. Your donation will also contribute towards things like track time for practices and bouts, fun events like an all night skate, team jersys and on site medics for our bouts.
