I discovered skating eight years ago, when I was in first grade. Even as a seven year old, I had the sense to fall in love with it.
I found derby not long after, and fell in love with that too. I’ve been with SDB this whole time, and all the while skating has grown to become something bigger in my life. Skating is my home and my team is my family, and I couldn’t love any of it more.
