"For I know the plans for you", this verse goes on to to mention plans not to harm you, plans to prosper you, and give you hope and a future. However a individual and their family with mental health battles will battle of will with this verse constantly. Some days it will feel like you lost, others it will feel like you made it through another day. I have personally battled mental health struggles since high school and more recently my family has had to extend far out of our comfort zone to be able to support our family. While we may not be ready to share our entire story publicly, we did grasp for clarity and verses in Jeremiah 29:11 (although some days we try not to remember). Fortunately We are on the other side of our storm and we are ready to lend a hand to the next person or family whom needs support. I began 'matt the handyman' to be able to offset costs we have incurred over the last few years, however with May being Mental Health Awareness month it seemed like the best time to take a step towards helping others. We have personally benefited from the Sky;'s the Limit Fund when we did not have the finances, time, or clarity to make very important decisions. This fund was able to give us a moment to breath in crisis. Through 'matt the handyman' I will be donating 10% of the income in May to this fundraiser. This will be a visual reminder to myself/ family/ friends that support 'matt the handyman' or even make a stand alone donations to to support Mental health in May.
