ABOUT FARM CAFE

FARM Cafe is a nonprofit, donate-what-you-can cafe dedicated to building an inclusive community by providing high quallity and delicious meals, sourced locally when possible, in a restaurant where everybody eats, regardless of means.

We believe that everyone deserves nourishment, both literally through enjoying a selection of healthy, nutritious meal options, and spiritually through participating in a welcoming community.

Those unable to pay the suggested donation for meals are encouraged to give their time in exchange.  In this way, we build community through shared values, labor, and enjoyment of delicious foods.

FARM Cafe serves an average of 1700 meals monthly during our Monday-Friday lunch service.  Approximately 60% of individuals pay less than the suggested donation, volunteer their time in exchange for a meal, or utilize a complimentary meal token. The average donation per meal is $7.64.  In a traditional restaurant, meals would be priced at $15.00 per plate.  All proceeds from Small Bites for a Big Cause and the silent auction assist in closing this gap and allowing FARM Cafe to provide high quality meals for all diners, regardless of ability to pay.

In addition to its lunch service, FARM Cafe's outreach programs provide an average of 1000 meals per month to community partner organizations.
