I’m thrilled to be playing in Small Goals, Big Change Brooklyn to help raise funds for Soccer Without Borders — an organization that’s been part of my life since I was for 10+ years.

Back in 2012, what started as a club soccer trip to Central America turned into a spontaneous side quest to visit SWB’s hub in Nicaragua… and that detour changed everything. I instantly connected with the community, the energy, and the purpose. What was meant to be one visit became a lifelong bond.

As I moved through college, grad school, and across the country, I always found myself back with the SWB family — from visiting the original sites in Central America to getting involved on the West Coast when I relocated there. I’ve seen firsthand how they create real impact: building community, creating belonging, and using the world's most universal language — soccer — to give youth the tools to grow, lead, and thrive.

This tournament isn’t just a fun day of footy — it’s about fueling a mission that uses sport as a vehicle for change, creating opportunity where it’s needed most.

 If you’re able to donate, your support will go directly toward SWB’s programs that provide underserved youth with access to mentorship, education, and the power of sport. Whether it’s $5 or $50, it genuinely makes a difference.
