Southern Oregon Aspire was formed in 1975 by a group of parents wanting more for their children. Instead of placing them in state institutions or restricting them only to their home, these parents sought after a better life for their child. These children lived and thrived with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
45 years later, Southern Oregon Aspire is still "Inspiring Unlimited Opportunities for People to Create the Life They Choose." We provide esidential supports, community living support, community employment training and placement and daily community activities. That group of parents in 1975 believed their children had the right to live, work and thrive in their community, looking at Aspire today we still hold on to that belief.
