In 1968, the first Special Olympics Games were held at Soldier Field in Chicago, moving Mayor Richard J. Daley to predict, “The world will never be the same after this”

I am so proud to be doing by 6th Polar Plunge in a row to raise money for this amazing charity and cause Special Olympics Chicago. Please help me by generously donating to help us raise money or join our team to jump in for the 2020 Chicago Polar Plunge presented by Jackson on Sunday, March 1st for the 20th Anniversary!! I am honored to serve on Board of Special Olympics Chicago and this is our single largest fundraiser every year, so thank you in advance for your kind support.

We will be #FREEZINFORAREASON to support the 7,500+ Special Olympians who compete week and year-round in the city of Chicago. All funds raised will benefit the Special Olympics Chicago athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms and food. Through your participation, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities and success.
