Our Team Fundraising Page
In less than a month, my daughter, Paige, and I will be jumping into balmy Lake Michigan as part of the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics.
It has been such a blessing over the years to participate in an organization that is all about uniting wonderful athletes and their families for a common cause. What has always struck me when attending the events is that there are thousands of athletes who likely would not have the financial ability or other support to compete in any kind of athletics if the Special Olympics did not exist. There are over 7,000 athletes with special needs in the Chicagoland area alone. The Polar Plunge is the largest fundraiser for the Special Olympics each year.
If you have any interest in joining us for a quick dip or making a contribution to our team, we would be very grateful.

Join us for the 2020 Chicago Polar Plunge presented by Jackson on Sunday, March 1st for the 20th Annviersary! Take the challenge and jump in Lake Michigan for Special Olympics Chicago! All are welcome to join us, whether you go knee deep, waist high, or take the full plunge.
Be #FREEZINFORAREASON and support the 7,500+ special olympians who compete year-round in the city of Chicago. All funds raised will benefit the Special Olympics Chicago athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms and food. Through your participation, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities and success.
