Our Story

In 2022, Tiffany Anderson, owner of Earth & Seeds, and Urban Roots came together in a joint effort to spread the word on regenerative farming. Urban Roots prioritizing environmental stewardship through programming and was eager to collaborate with Tiffany Anderson, owner of Earth & Seeds and camp mom! Tiffany completed the Kiss the Ground’s Soil Advocacy Training program and began mentoring Urban Roots’ Farm Manager Deborah Hug to bring regenerative farming practices to the urban teaching farm.

Both Earth & Seeds and Urban Roots were inspired to share with local gardeners and farmers how these practices can be used in the high desert. From there, Soil Palooza began as a celebration of our soil and a place where gardeners can come together to share their wisdom to their community. The goal? To make these practices simple and easy so that gardeners of all levels can use regenerative practices to support the future of agriculture locally and globally!

Earth & Seeds supports Urban Roots as a 1% for the Planet Environmental Partner.
