Why I am Participating:
I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend, a mentor, an avid reader (a member of 5 books clubs!) and a life-long learner who especially loves history. I love cooking for my family and friends and travel the country by plane, train, and automobile (with camper pulled behind). My two favorite cities to visit are Boston and NYC. I practice yoga almost daily and walk the greenway regularly in VINton where I live with my husband, Bill, and our 2 four-legged babies, Sofie and Sadie. We also have 2 adults children Will and Jordan.
I am an Advertising Strategist for Effectv, a division of Comcast. With over twenty years of experience in media, marketing and communication, I share my skill set in assisting nonprofits with their missions. In addition to volunteering with many community organizations, I serve on the boards of American Red Cross, RAYSAC, and TAP. I have a particular passion for breast cancer awareness because of personal connections to family members and friends who have fought the battle against this disease.
