Celebrate the arts in the heart of Sonoma Valley!
The Sonoma Plein Air Festival returns the week of September 8–13, 2025, bringing together 30 nationally renowned plein air artists for a week of painting, community events, and celebration in Sonoma Valley.
A hightlight of the week will be the Gala evening at Beltane Ranch, which features a heritage estate vineyard, produce gardens, heirloom fruit trees, heritage breed laying hens and more. The Ranch is not only rich in history and beauty, but is also an Agricultural Preserve.

Featuring student actors Tano and Lucy and many special cameos!
Proceeds from the Gala and 40% of painting sales directly support creativity development and arts education for the children and youth of Sonoma Valley.
