I want to ensure the same free educational opportunities I received as a child continue to be available and fully funded for all children. Parents who want to give their children a more specific religious or other private education have never been denied the choice, but it shouldn't be paid out of the education dollars we all pay through our taxes. We need to provide better pay and resources to our public educators.  Universal education vouchers are drastically draining the monies intended for public schools and need to be reigned in. Please help me help you by supporting public schools. We cannot continue to strip them of their resources and expect our economy and our future leaders to thrive. If you own a home, it's very important for your property value to sustain a well funded community school system.
