What are the registration fees?
Adults (ages 18+)
Early Bird (through October 8th): $25
October 9th – Day of event: $35
Children (17 and Under)
Early Bird (through October 8th): $10

Cat Nappers (Individuals that are fundraising but not attending the walk): $10
What is an Animal Advocate?
This year, we invite you to become an Animal Advocate Leader! What do you need to do to be a Leader? It’s easy; simply raise $100! Every Animal Advocate Leaderthat reaches the $100 level will get a special paw lapel pin and will help lead our Walk!
Can I bring Pets?
Friendly, on-leash dogs are welcome. Hundreds of dogs will be in attendance, so we recommend not bringing other types of pets.
Can I bring my children and can they participate?
Tails on the Trail is a family friendly event and children are welcome in all areas but must be registered participants. Please see youth registration information above. Youth participants are also welcome to fundraise.
What if I can’t attend but I want to fundraise?
Attendance on the day of the walk is not required. If you cannot attend, you may still register as a Cat Napper and use the website tools to raise funds. Registers Cat Nappers will receive a commemorative Tails on the Trail bandanna and Re-Usable bag in the mail after the walk. Your items will arrive within two weeks of the event.
Please send all cash and checks to the address above along with the linked Offline Donation Form and/or a letter signifying what team and or individual these donations will be attributed to.
How do I add cash and checks to my online total?
Under “My Donations” on your Fundraising Dashboard you can add all cash and checks you have received. They will show up as “Unverified Offline” donations and will count towards your unofficial total. After SPCA Cincinnatireceives these donations, sent with the linked Offline Donation Form and/or letter signifying who these donations will be attributed to, staff will move the donations over to “Verified Offline” donations and they will then count towards your official total.
This is my first time fundraising – do you have tips?
In case overflow parking is needed, additional parking is available at Stewart Elementary School at the corner of School Rd. and Conrey Rd.
SPCAStaff, along with signs, will guide you from overflow parking to walk grounds
I ordered a T-shirt on the website, how and when do I get that?
T-shirts will be passed out the registration table along with commemorative reusable bag & bandana when registered participants check-in.
If you ordered a T-shirt but are not attending the walk your T-shirt will be mailed to you along with commemorative reusable bag & bandana within two week of the end of the event.
Do I need to bring cash to the walk?
Yes! Some of our vendors will be selling wonderful items for you and your pets and you may want to take advantage of their offerings.
How many people do you expect to attend?
We anticipate 500-750 registered walkers.
Can I adopt animals while I am at the walk?
There will be no animals available for adoption at the walk. However, Francies RecreAcres is right next door toSPCA Cincinnati’s Sharonville facility, which will be open from 12pm to 6pm on walk day. Just in time for you to check out our many adoptable animals before you leave.
