I’m thrilled to be participating in the Grand African Run, a fundraiser supporting Saint Paul Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church! This church, affectionately known by its acronym SPOT, has become a wonderful home for our Ethiopian-American family, where Brook, Yisak, Yohannes and I can worship in the ancient and beautiful faith of Brook's ancestors in a supportive and welcoming community. The children and I were baptized at SPOT this summer, and now Yisak and I are running and fundraising together with our church's team as the congregation is outgrowing our current rented space and seeking a new home.
