Ride a Bike, Change a Life

Support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County in helping to promote healthy-lifestyles among youth who need us the most.

Register now, for this virtual event, and complete a bicycle ride on your own or with a group-- anywhere, anytime, and any distance. Ride as an individual, or form a team by asking friends, co-workers and family to join you.

The registration fe is $40 and raising funds to benefit BGC Mercer is encouraged but not required.  All funds raised by our participants directly benefit the youth of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County. By raising funds, you will be helping us provide programs that change lives by teaching kids and teens about physical and emotional health.

All participants will receive a participation packet including an event shirt.  These will be available for pick up in May at the BGC Bike Exchange in Lawrenceville, NJ.   Have fun, raise funds, and change the life of a young person!

Triple Play...Healthy-Living

An important piece of our After School Program, Triple Play is our Healthy-living iniative.  A national Boys & Girls Clubs curriculum, deveopled to ensure that all students nurture their minds, bodies and souls. Triple Play is designed to empower Club members to make healthier choices for the rest of their lives.   Nutritional meals and snacks are served daily. Students learn about healthy preparation of food and taste new fresh vegetables grown inour BGC Garden and participate in physical activities each week. We are giving our young people the tools to  make healthier choices, increase their physical fitness, and to encourage their friends and family to do the same.  The goal is to improve overall health of the community.

About BGC Mercer:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County provides young people ages 5-18, with social, enrichment, and recreational activities. Our programs offered after school, on weekends, and over the summer, focus on improving youth outcomes in education, developing social emotional competency and leadership skills, as well as teaching youth to develop healthy lifestyles through physical activity and nutrition.  Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
