Gentlemen, think seersucker suits, pastel blazers, or classic dress shirts with bow ties. Don’t forget stylish shoes and a festive touch—like a horse-themed pin or floral accents—to complete the look!

What are Qgiv and Givi?

Qgiv is an online platform for nonprofits. Qgiv developed the Givi app so organizations could provide one-click giving right on their mobile devices. For an organization hosting an auction, the Givi app can be used by attendees to check-in, place bids for Silent Auction items, and speed check-out at the end of the event.

Terminology:

  • Registration - The process of purchasing tickets, as well as sending each of your guests their ticket. When a sponsorship is purchased, a staff member will register the primary contact in the system. The primary contact will then receive all tickets associated with the sponsorship, complete their guests' information, and distribute the tickets accordingly.
  • Check-In - The process of using the email address you purchased tickets with to check-in and to bid in the silent auction, either through the Givi app (recommended) or online. This step is required to participate in the silent auction. However, you don't need to download the app to take part in the Live Auction and paddle raise.

Registration & Check-In Help

  • If you're Registered, you have purchased a ticket and received an email receipt.
  • If you're Checked-In, you've clicked Set up Bidding and added your payment method.

After your purchase:

  • You will receive an email from The Spring Fling Committee thanking you for your ticket purchase.
  • You will receive a second email with your ticket and instructions for setting up bidding and/or managing tickets. If you see any messages in red, please take a moment to make those updates before the event. This will help make check-in and check-out easier for you and your guests!
  • If you have purchased more than one ticket, click Manage Tickets to complete your guest information.

Download the Givi App:
Follow the prompts to download the Givi app, which enables you to bid on the silent auction.  The silent auction is exclusively online.
