I will be participating in the Sandy Sprint to raise money and awareness for The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as my mom, Jodie Milkman, recently passed away from ovarian cancer. Despite her struggles, my mom was resilient and maintained a positive outlook, finding light even on the darkest days. Throughout her battle, she dedicated her efforts to raising funds and awareness for ovarian cancer, helping others who were also affected by the disease. My mom always put others before herself and donated everything she received as gifts due to her illness directly to the Sandy Rollman Foundation because she cared more about helping others than her own situation. In honor of my mom, I am raising money to ensure that no one else has to suffer from this devastating disease. I will continue her legacy by participating in the Sandy Sprint as a tribute to her memory.
