Hi Friends! Many of you know Nina's story - it's a story of strength, determination and reslilience. At 5 months of age, she was diagosed with cerebral palsy (right hemiplegia) and epilepsy stemming from a neonatal stroke. After receiving that devestating news, we were assigned to the Star Rabino Center for Birth 2 Three pediatric therapy services through the state of CT which included PT + OT + SLP. Our incredible team of therapist ( Laura! Jenn! Debbie!) spent multiple days a week in our home working with Nina for almost 2 years. Their dedication to their craft and to Nina and our family is without a doubt the reason she has made the incredible strides she has. Even after she turned 3 and we exited from B23, we continued out patient services at the Rabino Center in Norwalk. These fundraisers support not only the pediatric therapies, they also help fund important programs for the disabled adult community.
