Where do I park?
There are two garages close to the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center. There is also limited street parking across from the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center. All parking is paid parking.
San Jacinto Garage is located at 2400 San Jacinto Blvd. This is the closest parking garage. Manor or Brazos garage are the next closest. We encourage guests to share a ride or be dropped off out front if the walk is too uncomfortable.
There will not be valet parking.
What is the dress code?
While many of our guests love to dress up in semi-formal/cocktail attire for our gala, you don’t have to! Have fun. Be unique. Dress for a fun night of food and music. This is Austin. Individuality is encouraged!
I’m a guest of a sponsor. How do I register to bid on auction items?
You can register two ways. You can check in with our guest services volunteers the night of the event, and they’ll get your credit card on file and assign you a bidder number. You will then need to download the Givi app to join the auctions. OR! You can download the Givi app today and save time the night of the event. Guest services will ensure you’re properly registered when you arrive.
What is the Givi app, and why do I need it?
Givi allows our guests to bid on auction items. In fact, once you download the app and register for the event, you can start bidding before the event! Givi works with our fundraising software to make your auction experience smooth, and your checkout seamless.
Where can I find the Givi app?
Download the Givi App to start bidding on both the live and silent auction and preview this year's raffle items! Have your pick with amazing trips, beautiful art, music and more! Add your phone number to the Givi app and get text alerts when you’ve been outbid! Follow step by step instructions.
Can I bid on silent auction items without the Givi app?
The Givi app is the best way for you to bid, so we can easily keep accurate records and immediately communicate with other guests if they've been outbid. We will also have volunteers readily available to help you and can place bids for you, in the event that the Givi app doesn't work for you.
What's the best way to purchase raffle tickets?
You can view any of the three raffle items (#300, #301, #302 and #303) online, but you will need to look for items #304, #305 & #306 to purchase tickets. Item #304 to purchase 1 ticket, #305 to purchase 3 tickets for $50 or #306 to purchase 10 tickets for $100. View raffle items and purchase tickets here. If you purchase tickets online, you will get your tickets at check-in, so you can drop them in the bowl for the raffle item of your choice. You will also be able to purchase tickets at the gala.
What's the best way to check-out at the end of the evening?
Once the auction ends, check-out will open and a "checkout" button will appear at the top of your Givi screen. This button will allow you to review your purchases and process your payment. You may also visit the check-out table before you leave.
