On Saturday, May 9th Lindsay, Bennett, Maggie and I will lace up our sneakers to walk in the Steps2Cure NF Rhode Island walk in Bristol, RI. Please make a donation to support this great cause, or if you're in the area please sign up to walk with us! More information is available here: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/steps2curenf-rhodeisland2026/
As many of you know, Maggie was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis 1 (NF1) at the age of 2. In January 2025, she began chemotherapy for an optic nerve glioma at the Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston. She's been a trooper, weathering the treatments, medications, and trips to Boston with bravery, endurance, and a great sense of humor.
We are participating in Steps2Cure NF to raise awareness and support for those affected by neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerves throughout the body. The money raised will support the mission of NF Northeast, funding patient support programs, advocacy efforts, and cutting edge research, and will provide hope and help to individuals and families impacted by NF. Every step we take brings us closer to better treatments, increased awareness, and a brighter future—thank you for your support!
