This year, I’m walking in the NF Walk for my goddaughter, Celeste. In just seven short years, she has faced more than many do in a lifetime, brain cyst and tumors, blindness, and constant hospitalizations, all caused by neurofibromatosi; yet she meets every challenge with strength, resilience, and grace. Her beautiful café-au-lait spots are part of her story and only add to the incredible light she brings into this world. I’m walking to honor her fight, to support families living with NF, and to help push research and awareness forward so children like Celeste can have brighter, healthier futures. Every step I take is for her and for all those who fight so bravely every day.
I love you, Celeste Milagros, with every ounce of my soul. I will always be right next to you as part of your League of Love. XO, Titi.
