I am participating in Steps2Cure NF to raise awareness and support for those affected by neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerves throughout the body. The money raised will support the mission of NF Northeast, funding patient support programs, advocacy efforts, and cutting edge research, and will provide hope and help to individuals and families impacted by NF. Every step I take brings us closer to better treatments, increased awareness, and a brighter future—thank you for your support!
One of my children is currently participating in a clinical trial to find a treatment to eliminate or decrease the size of NF tumors. We are extremely proud of her for stepping up to help researchers find a way for those living with NF to have a future with treatment options. This research is imperative to the NF community for a future with less tumors, pain, or discomfort.
By walking in Stops2Cure NF we are hoping more members of our community will come forward to learn about and offer support for these important programs, advocacy efforts, and research. Please help us help the NF community!
