About the Steps2Cure NF Walk

May is NF Awareness Month and we are bringing the NF community together all over the Northeast. Join us in the greater NYC/NJ area as we walk around Overpeck Park and take part in a beautiful day for friends, family and hope for NF.

ADULTS: $30

KIDS AGES 6-17: $20

NF PATIENTS AND KIDS UNDER 6: FREE

*Registration includes a NF Northeast bandana

Amounts raised are inclusive of your registration fee.

Team Fundraising Incentives

Raise $1,500: Receive a Steps2Cure NF hat for each team member, in addition to any individual fundraising incentives.

Raise $2,500: Receive a Team tent, VIP registration, special pre-walk snacks, Steps2Cure NF hat, in addition to any individual fundraising incentives.


*Individuals must be registered by April 5, 2024 to be eligible to receive a t-shirt.

About Neurofibromatosis Northeast

Neurofibromatosis (NF), pronounced neuro-fibroma-tosis, is a group of genetic disorders of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in or on the body at any time.  It is the most common genetic disorder caused by a single gene and affects three times as many people as muscular dystrophy, Huntington's disease, Tay Sachs, and cystic fibrosis combined.
