Miles was just 4 months old when he had his first seizure. In his short 16 yrs of life Miles he has endured over 10,000 seizures, some lasting over 2 hours long and has required numerous hospitalizations. Dravet syndrome is a drug-resistant severe epilepsy and over the years Miles has been on 14 different anti-seizure drugs and combinations yet still has seizures. Though his life is not easy and despite all he has endured Miles is a smiling happy kid who loves everyone he meets! He loves books, animals, basketball and especially golf!
