Thanks for visiting our Congenital Heart Foundation fundraising page! Chances are if you made your way here, you're already familiar with our Brave Ben. If not, we'd love to share his story.

Benjamin was born in April 2022 with a complex congenital heart defect. At birth, he was immediately admitted to the Cardiac ICU at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He spent the next few months fighting for his life until he received a life-saving heart transplant in November 2022. Ben came home from the hospital just days before Christmas. In total, he has spent 318 nights inpatient at SLCH. Ben is now thriving; he's doing many things that other 2-year olds do! We are beyond grateful to Ben's donor, his medical team, and everyone who's supported our family on this journey.

Please join our team at the CHF Walk this September! We'll be rocking our Brave Like Ben shirts! If you're unable to walk with us, we'd love for you to consider making a donation to our team's fundraiser. Each team member who raises at least $75 will receive a Congenital Heart Walk shirt on the day of the event.

A message from The Congenital Heart Foundation: Every 15 minutes in the United States, a baby is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs the most common birth defect in our country. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is clear - we aim to raise funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation in its quest to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding groundbreaking research.
