Baloo joined the Storybook Farm family not too long after I started volunteering in 2007. Not long after Trent got his cast off from his broken femur he started riding at SBF. It helped make his weak leg strong and built up his confidence. He started on a pony named Paddigton Bear and shortly thereafter moved on to Friar Tuck. One day Friar Tuck was sick for their weekly appointment and Baloo stepped in to be Trent's buddy. Trent being small and Baloo being tall I was worried, but as soon as he got in the saddle he quickly shared the smile on his face to the audience of college volunteers and away they went. Thank you Baloo for taking such care of not only Trent but the thousands of children who visit you and your friends at Storybook Farm.
