Flat Stanley, the horse pictured, along with many other animals at Storybook Farms aids in building brighter and healthier futures. Storybook Farm is a safe learning environment for children overcoming significant challenges in their young lives. When these children get on a saddle, they feel like they can conquer the world and forget about everything else around them. Children here get to participate in therapeutic horseback riding, education STEM activities, and much more. I love volunteering at Storybook and watching this transformative change.
