Year #4 doing Seek-the-Peak for me!
I'll be participating in a multi-day multi-sport trip this year. One day as a mountain-biker, completing the Presidential Traverse in ONE DAY, as well as hiking New England's hardest trail up Mt. Washington on event day!
Mental Toughness is when you can find fuel in an empty tank.
In July of 2021 I'll be climbing 6,288-foot Mount Washington, N.H. as a participant in 21st annual Seek the Peak, in support of the legendary non-profit Mount Washington Observatory.
Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to support my adventure.
New England has such a special place in my heart! Anyone that knows me knows that I look forward to this challenge every year and I look forward to helping raise funds for the Observatory. For 2021, I plan on hiking up my usual route of New Englands Hardest Trail - Huntington Ravine - as well as taking my beloved mountain bike along some of the single tracks of the White Mountains to hit the trails two very fun and adventerous ways. I've also decided to do the 23-mile Presidential Traverse in one single day, which includes over 9,000ft of elevation gain.
Did I mention I am doing this alone? True strength and dedication can come no other way than from within. I plan on proving that! On the highest mountain in the East, with the roughest weather, all because I know I can.
Your kind support will be greatly appreciated!
Due to the generosity of supporters the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory has been observing and reporting on Mount Washington’s infamous conditions for nearly 90 years from their mountaintop weather station, maintaining one of North America's longest continuous climate records. The data they collect is utilized in forecasting models, weather reports, landmark climate research and a variety of educational outreach.
Please join me in supporting this legendary institution by making a donation towards my outdoor adventure. All gifts are fully tax-deductible, and will help Mount Washington Observatory continue their important work in the Home of the World’s Worst Weather.
