Individual or Small Group Run/Walk

This year, Strides for CJD will be a VIRTUAL event nationwide. While we’re not able to gather in person, we will unite in spirit to raise much needed awareness and funds for CJD and other prion diseases. 

How to Participate:

• Registration is $30 for adults, $20 for children 12 and under. Register by September 1 to receive your t-shirt by mail.

• Set up a fundraising page and share it with all of your contacts via email and social media. Teams who raise $1,000+ fundraising by August 21st will be able to have a dedication included on the participant t-shirt.

• Invite your employer, local businesses, and friends to become a sponsor. Sponsorships of $1,000+ made by August 21 will appear on the participant t-shirt.

• In October 2020, wear your 2020 Strides for CJD shirt, post photos or videos of yourself and your family in Strides t-shirts, and spread awareness on social media. 

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run in locations across the country to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure.

Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to provide family support, medical education and research programs.
