CJD is a rare, incurable disease. This disease took away a husband, a father, a brother, a son, an uncle, a Grandpa (Abuelo), and a friend to many. Alejandro (Nandy) was always a fighter and never backed down from any fight or challenge. We are coming together in the memory of Nandy to fight to find a cure for CJD.

CJD affects one in a million people. It is so rare that many health care professionals have never heard of it. The CJD Foundation has been a great resource to many families, including ours, with information, free services of second opinions, and providing research to help find a cure. It is important to raise money for this incredibly great foundation to prevent other families from going through the heartache of CJD.
