Team Linda's Angels

We walk to help find a cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and honor Linda Sue Ferguson who entered eternal life way too early. She was generous, caring, loving, helpful and loved by so many. Most importantly she was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who spread love and joy to so many people.

Linda Sue Ferguson lost her battle to CJD on 02/10/2023 at the young age of 67 years, Team Linda's Angel's are family and friends walking to help find a cure for CJD and to honor her legacy and beautiful live she gave to us.

About Strides for CJD

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Funds raised support our programs including:

  • Our 24/7 helpline, support groups, conference, and other family programs throughout the year.
  • Research grants to help scientists make important discoveries and bring us closer to a cure.
  • Medical education to help raise awareness and understanding of prion disease.
